Roaming Salvage II Sale: The Klamath BLM would like to salvage log any tree that they claim is bug killed, fire killed, stressed or diseased on the district. In essence, the BLM would like to create the "fast food" version of doing a salvage timber sale, which would give the timber industry the ability to log any tree that they would want without public dispute. KFA is challenging the need for such discretion by the BLM. MENU, COMMENTS |
