Roaming Salvage II Sale Photo   Roaming Salvage II Sale: The Klamath BLM would like to salvage log any tree that they claim is bug killed, fire killed, stressed or diseased on the district. In essence, the BLM would like to create the "fast food" version of doing a salvage timber sale, which would give the timber industry the ability to log any tree that they would want without public dispute. KFA is challenging the need for such discretion by the BLM.

Gerber Analysis Photo   South Gerber Analysis: The South Gerber Watershed contains a variety of springs, meadows and vernal pool habitat that support 5 species of rare plants, the Red Band Trout, and a diversity of desert and forested habitats. The entire watershed is in great need of restoration due to a century of logging, road buildingand very intensive grazing. The BLM is doing an analysis to plan new projects and KFA is tracking it.
